When we move optimally that means that we are not misusing muscles or experiencing conflict in our system, everything moves just as it should using just what is needed of our muscles – in short we feel ‘nothing’, or at least our brain registers no message of pain, discomfort etc.
This is vital for any activity we do but especially so for meditation and other spiritual pursuits. A quiet body at ease means a quiet mind.
